What to bring to a surf lesson
Heading out for your first surf lesson? You don't need to bring much, but having a few essentials will make your day at the beach more comfortable.
Swimwear
Wear a swimsuit or board shorts that stay in place when you're moving around. You'll be paddling, popping up, and falling into the water, so comfort is key.
Sunscreen
The Nicaraguan sun can be strong, especially when you're spending hours on the water. Bring reef-friendly, water-resistant sunscreen and remember to reapply.
Water
Surfing is a workout, so staying hydrated is important. Bring a reusable water bottle and drink plenty of water before and after your lesson.
Towel
You'll definitely want a towel for after your surf lesson. A lightweight, quick-drying towel is ideal for a day at the beach.
Rash guard
A rash guard can help protect your skin from the sun and reduce irritation from your surfboard. At Tribu Surf, rash guards are available during your lesson if you need one.
What you don't need to bring
Don't worry about bringing a surfboard or surf wax. Tribu Surf provides the surfboard and equipment you need for your lesson.
All you need to bring is your swimwear, sunscreen, water, towel, and yourself. We'll take care of the rest!
